Microsoft Launched New App to Make Video from Pictures

Microsoft today released a new app named Photo Story as part of its garage project. This app allows you to make a video from your phone photos by adding music and animations.
Microsoft says Photo Store uses machine learning to pick the best photos from a user's Camera Roll in the video. Users can go back and add transitions, effect, and a soundtrack to their Photo Story video before they share it with others. It even supports Cortana. Users can say, "Story from today" and the app begins organizing the photos from that day into the video.

The store listing explains this app as:-
Photo Story, a Microsoft Garage project, helps you tell engaging stories using your photos. Simply choose a day, a theme and a soundtrack, and the app will create a rich stylized video from the best photos of the day. Photo Story saves you time by using computer vision technology to automatically pick the best photos. You can easily customize the choice of photos and share the resulting story, just like any other video.

So you no more need a pc software like movie maker for making a video out of your pictures. Just use this app and utilize the amazing picture capabilty of lumias.
